im still busy as you all can see, i got finals next week, and i should be studying but lots of good things happened.

i finally finish an artwork for my friend, with my bamboo fun (that's one load off my back). It's actually my first major work done with my new toy. im new to using tablets but i want to share some important information to others who are considering about buying a tablet.

the bamboo fun was really nice. i thought that i could be happy at first when i got it a month ago. when i get to start working on the artwork, it was not so pleasant. the space was not wrist friendly. i thought the response was ok, but it wasnt all that accurate and even a cautious guy like me needs to use some force on the pen to draw which results in minor scratches that i didnt like seeing. there's small gittering but it's almost ignorable. maybe i can survive with it as you can see from my recently submitted work. it did took a while to do however. it was very cute in it design though. im not embarrassed that an artist like me uses a bamboo tablet. looks can be deceiving like they say and this little guy got potentials.

but just yesterday my dad came back with an intuos3. i knew the first instance i grab that pen that there was something very special about it. the pen felt more sturdy. it was so responsive, i was almost blown away. the design was not cute but cool! but since it cost a lot i will take a lot of precaution when handling it. i can immediately tell the difference in its high pressure sensitivity level. the bonus software are the same, except the intuos comes with wacom brushes for photoshop. i still havent done any work with the intuos yet but i know something goods gonna be done with it. there's so much to learn

a lot of people might be wondering if it's ok to use a bamboo for drawing and coloring anime. even i ask my self this question before getting the bamboo and intuos. from my personal experience, i believe that answer is yes. if you have small pockets, this is the one, otherwise if you have a pocket loaded with money then then intuos is worth a look.

conclusion: you can still draw with a bamboo fun, but just that an intuos makes life easier for you. im not the type to get my wrist some punishment so im sticking with an intuos or now.
